9:19 pm	zooey i was told that zooey deschanel was so great because of the director's cut of almost famous. i saw the regular version and didn't like it all that much, so i still haven't seen the director's cut. i did see some other movies that she's in, however. she was all right in the good girl, and she was kind of plain and a bit dopey in all the real girls and manic. she was pretty good in euology and hitchhiker's guide at least, even though neither of them are serious movies. she wasn't necessarily the menstrual indie girl that everybody wants her to be. she's very much a menstrual indie girl in winter passing, but now i'm officially converted to her. she actually looks and acts like a young woman instead of an awkward teen. i wouldn't necessarily call her a knock out, but she has a flawed beauty that is very appealing to me. i hope she continues to be in these indie movies that nobody sees instead of playing sarah jessica parker's room mate in that failure to launch piece of shit (which i didn't, and won't, see). other than that one, i want to watch all of zooey's movies now. 1:10 am	i forgot i had a live journal... ...and i can see why. i have two friends on here. i have the same two friends on myspace...and 49 more. i can just type blogs. i don't think i have any use for this, but i'll keep it anyway. that way it will be a real event when i actually do post something. 12:24 pm	car in shop i didn't intend for my livejournal to be all about my car. i drive a green 95 saturn that used to belong to my stepmom. what is there to really say about that? however, i did take my car to the shop today. it cost $75 just for them to look around and try to figure out what's wrong. i called them back in the afternoon, and they said it was the battery. that costs $99. but i have to go back tomorrow morning to see if there is some battery drainage going on. if so, it might cost even more to fix that. so far i have to pay $174, but it could be more. if it is, i'll keep all two of you posted. one won't even be near a computer for a few days, so michelle, my car sucks. 10:19 pm	ok...so i lied i know i said i would take my car in tomorrow morning, but it looks like i lied. i'm at my friend veronica's apartment. it's kind of close to macarthur bart, but she's too lazy to drive me there and i'm too lazy to walk there. so it looks like i'm spending the night here. so the time i would have spent taking my car in tomorrow, i'll instead be spending walking to bart, getting on one train to transfer onto another, walking home from bart, taking a shower and getting dressed, walking back to bart, taking another train, and then walking the rest of the way to work, which starts at 11. i don't know if i'll have enough time to take my car in on tuesday, so i might be looking at wednesday. so at least two more days without a car, and just in time for it to rain. i love my life. 2:58 pm	i'm new at this this is my first livejournal entry. i've heard other people talk about it, but without much interest in doing it myself. then today i was just like, whatever, it's something to do. it's just like how it was with myspace. ryan kind of mentioned off hand that i should get on myspace, so one day i did for no particular reason. now i can't live without myspace. i hope livejournal doesn't end up that way. i only started this because michelle posted a blog on myspace saying she was back on livejournal. if i wanted to do this all along, i would have done it a long time ago. anyway, there's nothing to report. just sitting around not spending money so i can get ripped off at the mechanic on monday morning. at least i'll be able to drive soon. it will be great to drive not necessarily to go places, but to be able to drive myself home. i've been left stranded a couple times recently, and one of those times it was even my fault.
